I understand your interest and concern, and I commend you for your values. HPV and some bacteria can cause cervical cancer as you already know, but there are several non-sex related medical conditions that can cause cervical cancer that can still be detected by the "PAP smear". These non-STD related causes are very rare, and you probably have nothing to worry about, but if you like being safe about your health, getting a PAP smear even as a virgin still has health benefits.
The advertisements for the gardasil vaccine likes to say that it may protect against 70% of cercival cancer, but in reality it protects against 70% of the types of HPV that are known to cause cervical cancer (and the human data still comming in might say that the vaccine is ineffective at that). Viral infection is really only about 30% of the overall cause for cervical cancer, bacterial infections are another 30%, genetic traits and environmental factors account for most the rest of cervical cancer. Keep doing exactly what you're doing!
Premiums are tax deductable as a part of your medical expenses if you are filing long form. You add up every co-pay you made to doctors, hospitals, and prescriptions and the total cost you paid for these premiums and then you get a percent of that total back on your taxes. Anything that you paid for any type of health care is deductable as long as you have a receipt (or in the case of health premiums you pay) they are on the W2.
Are you thinking of the plan that Montel Williams has been endorsing? They have been playing the commercial like crazy here in California….

Legally, no there is not. Call the 800 number on the box of Lantus and find out about patient assistance programs. Failing that, you may need to switch to a cheaper insulin until you can get insurance. While it would require more frequent injections, NPH is a LOT cheaper than Lantus. (Walmart has Relion Humulin N for under $25 a vial vs about $110 per vial of Lantus).
It means that the lab that examined your test smear found something that MIGHT have been anomalous, and you should have a retest done to make sure that was all it was…an anomaly. If you have a second test that shows oddities in the results, your doctor will most likely refer you out to have a colposcopy done.
And believe me, you should do it….its how they found my cervical cancer. I had 18 months of anomalous pap smears before the Navy clinic finally sent me out to a specialist.
