If your snoring is caused by nasal congestion such as hayfever or a cold, then perhaps. However, snoring can be caused by other issues, including deviated septum (bent nose) or much more serious sleep apnea.

I would recommend consulting a doctor — sleep apnea (breathing stops during sleep) can cause stokes, high blood pressure, or even kill you, and it is a common cause of snoring.

When I do nasal rinsing, I usually prefer baking soda over any other stuff. And wow, I love the feeling it gives me because it feels awesome and clean. But I got to try some of these things too, looks effective as well.

Is your nostril completely clogged? It could be that you're not getting a good enough suction on it as well. If I were you, I'd recommend taking a hot shower, to loosen up anything in your nasal cavities and nostrils, and then try using the neti pot, to see if that does the trick. I find that if it's not flowing freely, changing the angle of the pot or my face can help.
