You will not have to report the $10,000 as income and will not pay income taxes on it. You will have to pay taxes on any interest or investment income you earned on the $10,000 during the year.
VERY hard to tell what kind of life insurancde product this is. To me it sounds like a very low quality company that is just looking for a way to get out of paying you. The illegal drug thing, or an overdose thing you won't get around ever, but if it's a perscription drug that is being taken as prescribed…that should be covered under any respectible plan.
You need to go to a broker. They will find the best company to match you up with.
My mother is a Type 2 Diabetic (diet controlled) and I found 2 different companies that offered her standard ratings. Of course it depends on whther your husband is insulin dependent and how much he takes.
because we get ripped of in the UK in Russia the average insurance is 150 usd about 85 pounds a huge difference i think and i bet they still make a profit.Maybe everyone in England should refuse to buy insurance for a whole year to make them take their prices down.
In my opinion you better stick to the life insurance cover & ignore illness cover. Meanwhile check out this site which will really help you to take decision in this moment. Visit this site for sure
