Well, you have to shop around. You can TRY some local, independent agents, but you're NOT going to find it cheaper than about $1200. That's just how much it costs, for bare bones liability coverage.

I agree, find a broker. BCBS is good, so is HealthNet, but also look into United Healthcare, I hear they're really good as well.
