That is all you need but the Va inspection is useless. You will get a 10 day temporary inspection sticker but then will need to get a valid NYS inspection. Actually they will want to see some ID. like your driver's license.
I assume the dealer sent your title paper work to the Michigan Secretary of State? If so you will need to wait for the title to come back from them, and the vehicle will be in your name. If he sent it to California then you will have to wait for the title to come from California and then take that document to the Michigan SOS.
You should call the Michigan SOS and see if they have any sort of temporary permit (paper plate) you can use until your documents arrive. A lot of states have those. You can call them at (888) 767-6424 , or you can e-mail your question to them at
